Freezing Temps can lead to Frozen Pipes
3/7/2019 (Permalink)
Freezing temperatures can cause pipes to freeze and burst. This water loss was caused by a burst pipe in the wall affecting the entire home.
Below are a few steps to follow when there are freezing temperatures in your area.
- Turn up the heat
- Set up fans to blow heat into cold rooms.
- Open vanity or cabinet doors so warm air can reach the pipes under sinks.
- If you have exposed pipes inside closets or pantries, leave doors open.
- cover outdoor faucets
